On Friday, Stephanie Stradley mentioned how the city of Pittsburgh was undecided on whether or not it would be throwing a parade if the Steelers were victorious in Super Bowl XLIII. The very notion that a city -- especially one with a fan base as rabid as Pittsburgh's -- would not throw some sort of party was certainly a little odd, if not completely crazy. Well, rest up, Steelers fans, because on Monday afternoon the city announced that there will indeed be a parade, which will take place Tuesday afternoon and follow the path that is traditionally used for the Pittsburgh St. Patrick's Day parade, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Festivities are scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM ET.
Following the Steelers victory over Seattle in Super Bowl XL, an estimated 250,000 people filled the streets of Pittsburgh to celebrate "one for the thumb." This time, Pittsburgh fans are ready to celebrate with a six pack.
Perhaps there will even be some crowd surfing from Troy Polamalu.

Oh so true Scott ! The plain fact is, is that these guys will FOREVER be known as the " STEALERS " as in the refs & play review guys being in bed with these STEALERS by rushing through what should have been a much longer time to determine whether Warner's arm was indeed going forward .. it was evident to everyone ( even with like a million calls against them , that the Cards clearly OUTPLAYED these CHUMPS !

You're both nuts. Ref calls are human, and there was no fix. The Steelers played the entire season with very, very few holding calls on Harrison, and he still produced. Oh, remember, Harrison was penalized for his stupid actions againt Warner. You both would be complaining if the Steelers were penalized 150 yards.

Nobody wants to talk about the jumpball Larry and Ike had when Larry didn't have full control when he came down and the ground helped him secure the ball for a TD. But the refs didn't see that.....OR Harrison getting held every play....or...well...no need on complaining anymore....after all you haters.....we just got our 6th SUPERBOWL. 88 yard drive with a terrible offensive line and the second most sacked QB in the league.....oh yeah....Ward was playing with an injureed knee. Wow.....Arizona, couldn't you stop that poor offense from marching 88 yards with 2:37 left?!?!?! All that complaining.... you are blaming everyone else but your sorry excuse for a defense. GO STEELERS ENJOY THAT 6 PACK!!!!!

The "old" Steelers won four superbowl rings, the "new" Steelers have two. How many does your team have Scott?? how many delaware jack?? Tell you what... add both of yours together and and one more for both of your stupidity... and you still won't come close to Pittsburgh's achievement, you whinny loosers!!

i just have the last word the stealers are not champs, how about chumps or better yet chimps, they are not a dynasty but the rooneys pay off the refs, how about that , look at all the cocoanuts for a stealer parade. the asterisk must go next to the games against the seahawks and cardinals , forever the chumps will be stealers. who cares how pittsburg is spelled they in fact insigificant.
