There have been a surprisingly large number of movie commercials thus far in the Super Bowl -- my theory is that movie studios have more money than anyone else and can actually afford the insanely high prices. Either way, I've been skeptical of Jack Black lately (I was very "meh" on Tropic Thunder) but Year One looks pretty funny at first glance. Fat, bearded guys playing the role of a neanderthal FTW.Grade: B
Why? Well, it would be higher, but the truth of the matter is that a movie commercial can never be shocking in the same way that Bud Light is. Still, it was a breath of fresh air early and it looks pretty funny at first glance. (Yes, I did like Dude, Where's My Car? Is that a problem?)
